The Next Drop is operated by Precious Memories Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17332454, whose registered office is at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA. By using The Next Drop you agree to these terms. We may update them with notice.
When buyers order from you, you decide how their details are used — you are the data controller and we act as your processor. That relationship is governed by our Data Processing Agreement, which is incorporated into and forms part of these terms, as required by Article 28 UK GDPR. By creating a seller account you accept it. How we handle your own account data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for what you sell. Whatever you promote through The Next Drop — food, clothing, music, courses, community projects or anything else — you are responsible for making sure it is lawful, safe, accurately described, and that you meet every legal requirement that applies to your trade. We provide software; we do not check, approve or endorse what you list.
If you sell food or drink: you are solely responsible for food safety and allergen compliance, including UK Natasha's Law (Food Information (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2019) and all applicable food hygiene legislation, and for any registration your local authority requires. The allergen and dietary labels in The Next Drop exist to help you display information to buyers — they do not constitute legal advice and do not guarantee compliance. You must verify and maintain accurate allergen information independently.
Your obligations to buyers. You are responsible for meeting your duties to your customers, including describing goods and services accurately, honouring the price shown, and giving buyers any cancellation, return or refund rights they are entitled to. Rights differ by what you sell — for example, distance-selling cancellation rights commonly apply to physical goods and digital services but are often limited for perishable or personalised items. Check what applies to you.
You are also responsible for your own tax and any business registration or licensing your activity requires. Nothing on The Next Drop is legal, tax or regulatory advice.
Sellers may not sell: illegal items, weapons, controlled substances, counterfeit goods, tobacco or vaping products to minors, or any item prohibited by applicable law. Violation results in immediate account suspension. The Next Drop reserves the right to suspend any account at our discretion where prohibited goods or services are listed or where we reasonably suspect misuse.
You keep ownership of what you upload — your photos, item descriptions and drop details remain yours. You grant Precious Memories Ltd a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content for the purpose of operating The Next Drop, including showing it on your public drop pages and in link previews when your drop is shared. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies held in backups until they are overwritten.
You must have the right to use every image you upload. By uploading, you confirm that you own the content or are licensed to use it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's copyright, trade marks or other rights. Finding a photograph through a search engine is not permission to use it. Do not upload stock images you have not licensed, photographs taken by someone else without their permission, or another business's branding.
You are responsible for content you upload and agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost arising from it. We may remove any content without notice where we reasonably believe it infringes a third party's rights or breaches these terms, and may suspend accounts that do so repeatedly.
If you believe content on The Next Drop infringes your rights, email privacy@thenextdrop.co.uk identifying the content and your rights in it, and we will investigate promptly.
The Next Drop is free for three weeks from the date you create your account, with no payment details required. After that, a single payment of £19.99 (including VAT where applicable) gives you lifetime access. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
“Lifetime” means the operational lifetime of the service, not your own lifetime or any fixed number of years. It includes every feature we build into the core product. It does not oblige us to operate the service indefinitely: if we ever discontinue it, we will give you at least 90 days’ notice and the means to export your data. Features that carry a material per-seller cost to us — for example card payment processing at checkout, or text messaging — may be offered as separately priced add-ons, and we will make any such charge clear before you incur it.
As the payment buys immediate access to digital content, you agree that provision begins at once and that your statutory 14-day right to cancel a distance contract is therefore lost on purchase. This does not affect your rights where the service is faulty or not as described. Sellers who paid on a monthly or annual plan before we moved to this pricing keep their access; their previous subscription was cancelled and they are not charged again.
Public drop pages remain accessible to buyers regardless of whether the seller has paid. An unpaid account restricts seller dashboard features only — a seller’s buyers are never locked out because of the seller’s account status.
The Next Drop is a software platform only. We are not party to transactions between sellers and buyers and accept no liability for product quality, delivery, or disputes.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
